Sustainable Agriculture Research
I explored whether everyday food waste—orange peels, coffee grounds, and eggshells—could be repurposed as natural fertilizer, turning discarded materials into a potential resource for more sustainable agriculture.
Through plant-growth experiments across mixed, sandy, and volcanic soils, I compared fertilizer effectiveness and analyzed crop growth. The research developed into a paper on food-waste-based fertilizers and earned 3rd place at the Scholars Circle Research Summit.
